I started this blog as a dev diary. Then wrote an introductory post referencing Mr. Robot. I’ve made a poor decision. Not about referencing Mr. Robot, ofc. But about the blog being a dev diary. While that is always an interesting concept and a nice thing to have. It’s not for me, it’s not who I am as a person. I’d love to have it, but I just wouldn’t keep it up, since I’m such a lazy person.
I’m gonna write in this blog, gonna make stuff and update stuff and do stuff. “Stuff” is yet to be defined. This has no real specific purpose or goal or whatever, other than me having an outlet to record and share my stuff, and hopefully an entertainment and/or a lesson for you readers.
I also contemplated doing a dev vlog. The advantage a vlog would have over a blog in my case, is that it’s much more personal, much more expressive, and much more entertaining to watch. However I’m a horrible video producer. Video making would require a ton more discipline, time, effort, …etc.
The best part about writing, is that it’s therapeutical. It’s helps stabilize my emotions, reactions, which in turn helps me make more use of my logic and attention and formulate thoughts. It’s also good for me because I know how to design the content better than a video. I spent like 10 times more work on my YouTube channel than on my original blog. If you check them out both you’ll see the quality between them isn’t that much different. There’s a lot of production that goes into making a video, like lighting, camera and audio quality, editing, …etc but all you need to write is ……yourself.
As I learn the ropes of blogging once again, it’ll be interesting to see what my future content will be about. Whether the blog will gain any popularity. Or whether or not it’ll even be discontinued. Who knows. The universe is a seemingly random thing, and anything can happen.
